Join the UP-School of Economics on its hybrid event titled "Building Roads in Northern Canada: A Driver of Development?" by Prof. Thomas Stringer to be held on February 6, 2024 (Tuesday), 3:00 PM at Julius T. Limpe Lecture Room at the UP School of Economics and online through Zoom.
Prof. Stringer's paper presentation examines the economic effects of road connection, using Northern Canada as a case study. It will also outline some of the policy options explored for developing this region, and how infrastructure connectivity could affect remote communities in countries such as the Philippines.
