A Briefing on SocioEconConnect: Opportunities within the Philippine Socioeconomic Panel Survey (PSPS)

Innovations for Poverty Action (IPA) Philippines and the Global Poverty Research Lab (GPRL) at Northwester University has partnered with the Philippine Institute for Development Studies (PIDS) and the University of the Philippines School of Economics to launch a twenty-year panel survey, tracking a representative sample of rural households in Western Visayas.

The objective is to provide publicly available data for government actors, researchers, and practitioners to better understand the long-run processes of social and economic development. Most importantly, the panel will serve as a unique platform for enabling rigorous impact evaluations that test specific programs and policies.

This lecture will happen on March 13, 2024 (Wednesday), from 11:30 Am - 1:30 PM (Manila Time), Class of 1981 Lecture Room at the School of Economics.
