This week delves into the intersectionality of Gender and Security. We analyze the challenges and prospects of security issues in the Philippines and Southeast Asia from a gender-inclusive and gender-aware policy lens. A gendered analysis of security priorities, which include violent extremism, peace negotiations, and crisis management, reveal important gender differences in order to develop a more inclusive security agenda.
