Resilient and Sustainable Future for All: Promoting Circular Economy through Responsible Consumption and Production


The Philippine APEC Study Center Network (PASCN)-Philippine Institute for Development Studies (PIDS) in partnership with the Asian Institute of Management (AIM) Rizalino S. Navarro Policy Center for Competitiveness, and with the support of Konrad Adenauer Stiftung Philippines, held a hybrid-event titled "Resilient and Sustainable Future for All: Promoting Circular Economy through Responsible Consumption and Production" hybrid symposium on May 17, 2023, from 9:00 AM to 12:00 PM at 3/F Aboitiz Tech Room, AIM Campus, Makati City and via Zoom.

This two-panel symposium presents the concept of Circular Economy in the Philippines and APEC Region. It discusses related concepts such as Extended Producer Responsibility (EPR) and sustainable consumption and presents case studies both from the production and consumption side. The panels feature key players from the APEC Secretariat, government, private sector, and academe.
