Dr. Adoracion Navarro

Dr. Adoracion Navarro is a Senior Research Fellow at the Philippine Institute for Development Studies (PIDS). Her research interests include issues in the infrastructure sectors and regional development.

Serving PIDS since 2012, Dr. Navarro's tenure was briefly interrupted by her role as Undersecretary for Regional Development at the National Economic and Development Authority from November 2016 to June 2020.

Dr. Navarro obtained her Master of Arts and Doctor of Philosophy in Economics from the University of the Philippines-Diliman and a Master of Public Administration major in Economic Policy Management from Columbia University-New York. Additionally, she serves as a Philippine Navy Reservist, currently holding the rank of Commander.
