Climate Change

Climate change is widely recognized as one of the major challenges that beset our world today. Its negative impacts have continued to become more apparent around the globe.

In the international and local scenes, the research community has been responsive to the call for promoting increased understanding and awareness of the ramifications of climate change and what could possibly be done to abate it and to protect affected sectors. In this maiden issue of the SERP-P Spotlight, which is aimed at highlighting critical policy issues of the day, we compile studies on climate change which were conducted by the different network members of SERP-P. These studies present a wealth of knowledge that is useful for the formulation of relevant policies and strategies to respond to the alarming impacts of this phenomenon.
