This issue highlights key accomplishments of the Philippines' chairmanship of ASEAN in 2017 such as the ASEAN-China Framework for the Code of Conduct in the South China Sea and the ASEAN Consensus on Protection and Promotion of the Rights of Migrant Workers. It also introduces Singapore's priority for its 2018 chairmanship which is "Resilience and Innovation".
