TAPS PP 1999-33: Final Report on GTEB Enhancement Program

In the Philippines, the Garments and Textile Export Board (GTEB) defines the striking implications of the quota free environment by the year 2005 of the Garment Industry. With the desire to maximize the opportunities in the export market, the GTEB repositions the direction of the Garment Industry towards economic growth and equitable development under the GTEB Enhancement Plan. Its specific strategy ensures complete transparency and respect of the law of the land and it increases the level of competitiveness of the Garment Industry in the world market. The report herewith presented has been a product of detailed research work, data analysis and actual project management of key components within the framework plan.
