Small and medium enterprises (SMEs) play an important role in economic growth and development. For them to compete in the regional and global markets, though, they have to innovate. But is the environment for their innovation adequate and conducive in the Philippines? Are there lessons from other countries from where the Philippines can learn in terms of programs to support SMEs to innovate?
