The project was aimed specifically at facilitating the selection of particular patient groups, which would be eligible to receive support from the Asia Foundation (through its principal, the Pfizer Foundation)in the form of financial and/or technical assstance. This was with the ultimate end in view of enhancing the capacity and influence of such groups as advocates in the Philippine health sector.
