ERAPECONOMICS is derived from the presidential campaign "Erap para sa Mahihirap." ERAPECONOMICS hopes to focus on "pro-poor and pro-market" strategies. Pro-poor rhetoric is important as it emphasizes the new administrations commitment to fulfill its promse among the marginalized groups while the addition of the pro-market phraseology assures the private sector that economic reforms towards greater competition and a level economic playing field will be continued and sustained.
