The project’s goal was to develop and to strengthen the capabilities of NATRIPAL (Nagkakaisang mga Tribu ng Palawan/Federation of United Tribes in Palawan) and its member associations to manage community-based enterprises, to promote the sustainable use of natural resources, and to contribute to biodiversity conservation in Palawan. Project implementation focused on the 4 K’s: Karapatan, Kapaligiran, at Kabuhan para sa mga Katutubo ng Palawan (Social Equity for Indigenous Peoples of Palawan) through economic security and recognition of their ancestral domain.
