The Planning of Baguio City: A Historical Perspective

With the premise that Baguio City could serve as a model of what a city should be, the article ventures into a presentation of how the City was planned and developed, from a historical perspective. The discussion takes off from the Hispanic Hill Station idea and goes through the Reed and other American town plans and Baguio’s eventual development as a summer capital, and the years that followed after the Burnham Plan.
