PPJ Vol. XVI No. 1 1984-04: A Study of Poverty Redressal Programs in Metro Manila

The paper presents a study that attempts to determine how the poor perceive their role vis-à-vis that of the government in efforts to improve their welfare. It also looks into their perception of the relevance and appropriateness of government programs of assistance and services to their felt needs. As a result, the study will be seen to have isolated certain facts about the service delivery of government as well as attitude patterns of the poor which might be given focus in revising current set-ups of said services provision, or the actual crafting of new ones, all Issues in Urban Sewerage Planning in the Laguna Lake Region: A Case Study of San Pedro, Laguna.
