Issues in Urban Sewerage Planning in the Laguna Lake Region: A Case Study of San Pedro, Laguna


Based on insights gained from a planning experience for a sewer interceptor system project of the Laguna Lake Development Authority in San Pedro, Laguna, the article is an attempt to identify issues in sewerage planning in an urban area and its relation to a larger area or region. The end product is a proposed framework for future programs of the same nature, which points to participation-oriented social improvement strategy as the best approach in undertaking the program.
