The paper describes the physical geographic characteristics of the province of Abra in terms of slope, soil, elevation, climate and land use. It also analyzes how these physical geographic characteristics affect the suitability of the land for agricultural utilization in the province. Lastly, the paper studies how lands can be planned properly for agricultural use based on their land use potential as revealed by comparing the land suitability and land use situation.
