WDS 1995-SP: Women's Health and Safe Motherhood Project

The paper discusses the women's health and safe motherhood project in the Philippines co-financed by the World Bank, the Asian Development Bank, the Australian InternationalDevelopment Assistance Bureau, the European Commission and Kreditanstalt far Wiederaufbau of Germany. It provides insights on women's health issues and the strategies to be undertaken to develop the country's health sector particularly women's health and maternal care.
