This study was commissioned by the Ecowaste Coalition, in partnership with the Program on Alternative Development Program of the University of the Philippines Center for Integrative and Development Studies, in recognition of the research gaps. First, measuring the employment impact of a national SUP ban. And second, assessing the perceptions of workers of the proposed ban and also the prospect of a just transition.
