This paper documents the proceedings of a specialized education campaign designed to enhance the understanding of Shari’ah law among barangay officials and Local Government Unit (LGU) personnel handling Muslim affairs. Recognizing the critical role of local leaders in mediating disputes and providing administrative services to Muslim Filipino communities, the initiative provides a comprehensive overview of the Philippine Shari’ah legal system, including its integration within the national judicial framework. The study details the discussions on family relations, succession, and the jurisdictional boundaries of Shari’ah courts. By bridging the knowledge gap between traditional legal systems and local governance, the proceedings highlight the importance of culturally sensitive leadership and the need for institutionalized legal education to ensure the fair and effective delivery of justice at the grassroots level.
