The Davao Region Development Plan (DRDP), 2011-2016 embodies the aspiration of its people to become the Rising Global Frontier at the turn of the decade. To realize this aspiration, the region shall strive to attain rapid, high and sustained economic growth that shall result in faster decline of poverty incidence. The ultimate aim is to bring the region closer to the achievement of its Millenium Development Goals (MDG) and to facilitate a more inclusive growth.
