Davao Region Sustainable Development Goals Catch-Up Plan

As 2023 marks the halfway point in implementing the SDGs, the SDG Pace of Progress Report generated by the PSA shows that the Philippines’ progress remains uneven across the Goals. Recognizing the urgency in attaining SDG targets, all Regions in the country, through its respective Regional Development Councils (RDCs), formulated their respective SDG CatchUp Plans. The SDG Catch-Up Plan shall serve as a blueprint towards addressing gaps in SDG implementation at the regional level and accelerate the attainment of the targets espoused in the SDG Global Indicator Framework. The Davao Region SDG Catch-Up Plan is an important reference in the updating of the Davao Regional Development Plan, 2023-2028, wherein most of the Core Regional (CoRe) SDG indicators are already mainstreamed in the Plan’s results matrices, and also in the formulation/execution of other development plans and strategies for Davao Region.
