The first quarter 2026 issue of the Central Visayas Journal focused on the identification of the priority projects for Central Visayas, as its main focus on propelling the growth of the region as well as alignment of the regional line agencies' budget proposals.
Also highlighted in this issue is the creation of the Regional UPLIFT Committee in mitigating the crisis brought about the geopolitic conflicts in the Middle East. Among the featured stories are the launching of the Trabaho Para sa Bayan Plan 2025-2034, the Women of RDC 7 and other activities conducted for and by the RDC 7 and DEPDev 7.
Also included in this issue is the 4th Quarter 2025 Regional Economic Situationer and the status of major infrastructure projects in the region.
