The CALABARZON Rehabilitation and Recovery Program (RRP) for areas affected by Severe Tropical Storm Paeng outlines strategic interventions to address the extensive damages and losses across the region. Covering the provinces of Cavite, Laguna, Batangas, Rizal, and parts of Quezon, the RRP is anchored on the goal of achieving safer, adaptive, and disaster-resilient communities, the program focuses on four key sectors: productive, social services and housing, physical infrastructure, and governance. It identifies priority programs and projects to ensure food security, access to quality social services, continuous infrastructure functionality, and strengthened multi-stakeholder collaboration. The RRP integrates cross-cutting concerns such as environmental sustainability, gender responsiveness, and social inclusion, and will be implemented through coordinated efforts among national agencies, local government units, and development partners.
