The University of the Philippines Center for Integrative and Development Studies (UP CIDS) is a policy research unit of the University of the Philippines System that harnesses multidisciplinary expertise in addressing issues of national significance. UP CIDS spans various perspectives, methodologies, and ideologies in its conduct of basic and policy-oriented research. The Center also encourages and supports research and study by various units of the University and individual scholars, secures funding from public and private persons and agencies, and ensures that the research outputs and recommendations of UP CIDS are published and openly disseminated.
