Minimizing the Cost of Quality in the Public Sector

The GQMP Q-Talks Seminar Series on Cultivating Quality is a three-installment hybrid learning initiative that aims to promote the value of quality excellence as a driving force in government transformation. Anchored on a strong quality mindset as a foundation towards better public service, this series addresses the topic at three levels–institutional, individual, and operational. Through the experts’ insights and discussions, the activity aims to be a platform to inspire public employees to embed quality principles in their everyday work and for organizations to cultivate it, thus contributing to government improvement and the achievement of developmental goals.

This last installment aims to highlight the hidden costs of poor quality—such as inefficiency, errors, and service failures—and provide participants with the knowledge and strategies to reduce the Cost of Poor Quality (COPQ) and strengthen service delivery.
