In its continuing effort to push forth its thrusts on policy research, the PIDS has embarked on a number of activities in 1993, the major of which is the PIDS Review and Outlook of the Philippines (PROPE). PROPE is an annual report that provides a review of the economic governance, an outlook of the Philippine economy for the coming year and a set of recommendations that need to be attended by the government to achieve sustainable economic growth. This report reviews the Institute’s achievement on information dissemination, library development program and public affairs and publications. It also presents the Institute’s financial operations.
